Privacy

This site provides information about our products – usually opened via the QR code on the packaging. It works without cookies, without tracking and without content from third parties. This notice explains what data is nevertheless processed.

2. Visiting the site

When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits your IP address, the requested address, date and time, the browser identifier and your preferred language. We use this information only to deliver the page, to show it in your language and to protect the server from overload (limiting requests per address for a few minutes in memory). We do not store your IP address and keep no access logs containing IP addresses.

To choose the language we may determine your country from the IP address. This is done exclusively on our server using a country database stored there; the address is not passed on to anyone for this purpose and is not stored. (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, licence CC BY 4.0.)

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide product and safety information reliably and in the appropriate language.

3. Counting scans

We count how often a product page is opened via the QR code – as a daily total per product, source and language. These figures contain no IP address, no identifier and no other information relating to you.

4. Cookies

The public pages set no cookies and do not read any information from your device. Only in the protected editorial area, used exclusively by our staff, is a technically necessary session cookie set after login (Section 25(2) TDDDG).

5. Videos

Some product pages show a video. It is only loaded when you start it. If the video is hosted by another provider, that provider receives your IP address when the video plays; a link to YouTube or Vimeo opens the provider's site, which is subject to its own privacy notice.

6. Hosting

The site runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

7. Contact by email or phone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer required for this purpose, unless statutory retention periods apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please contact datenschutz@nespoligroup.de.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
